Our Paris apartment

Our apartment is in the most wonderful spot in Paris on Ile de Saint Louis right on the Seine.

 

But there are a few downsides. This is our loft bedroom. See how close Tom's head is to the ceiling. Getting in and out of bed can pose some difficulties but so far so good. No broken ankles. Below is our front door. The security is fierce. To get inside we have to use an electronic tag on three different doors. And that's before we get to our own front door where we use a key. And it's dark but it is close to the most wonderful shops and restaurants. The cheese shop is to die for and the boulangerie is just wicked. Two croissants every morning is not really considered a healthy start to the day but this is Paris. And did I mention the river?
