Correction about Les Deux Magots

After stuffing down yet another croissant breakfast prior to joining Tom on a run along the Seine I noticed tha I'd made a mistake about the name of Les Deux Magots. Apparently it was named after a successful play of the time: The Two Magots of China. It has had a very colourful history including secret work during the Nazi occupation of Paris in 1940. Documents were exchanged and passed on via secret rendezvous in the back rooms of the cafe.
We are having an amazing time.

These pics outside the Louvre show the sublime to the ridiculous. We stumbled on this chic fashion shoot.

Which induced the need in me to jump on the nearest block of stone and pose for this shot. These blocks have been graciously supplied to allow tourists to make fools of themselves.
When we arrived in Paris it was grey and rainy and now it is glorious and sunny.
The Paris Metro reunion has begun with a bang with champagne and beetroot meringues last night at Tour d'Argent.
I will save descriptions for another time. It's time to jog off those croissants.
