Another birthday and other things

No sooner than we had blown out the candles for Phil's birthday, it was time to do the same thing again for Maddie. We celebrated her 13th birthday down by the lake in front of Cathy and Phil's cabin.

After cake and party bags we watched the beautiful colours of the night sky.

Next day we had the real estate people visit our house and see if it was presentable for for future holiday rentals. We spent the whole morning cleaning up for them and the house looked beautiful.

This is the 60 year old quilt that we bought in an estate sale last year.

Tom manages to relax for a nano second.

And our new $16 chairs to enjoy the splendid view. And just to prove that there's no rest for the wicked, tonight we're hosting a party for 50 odd people! Phil will announce the pairings for the annual 4th of July tennis tournament tomorrow.
