Yesterday was our last full day in Charlevoix. Today we pack, clean, swim and drive to Detroit to see if it has come like a phoenix out of the ashes to a new cultural Renaissance. Yesterday was mainly a gardening day for me. While the others played tennis I got creative with the stones and the succulents. Just try and imagine two giant rocks rather than a half barrel and a light on a pole and some machinery. It will be awesome. And with our sprinklers all working perfectly I have high hopes that these dear little plants will take off and flourish.
Here are some close-ups. I wanted to it to look as if the stones are arms or half moons protecting the plants.
